Horizon Nua is looking to employ a Platform and Community Development Officer to support the growth and further development of the Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform.
About the Platform
The Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform (CNEP) is an innovation of the H2020 funded Connecting Nature project. It was developed as a response to the increasing demand for nature-based solutions (NBS) for climate change adaptation and mitigation, and for healthier, cleaner and greener cities and the challenge of finding skilled suppliers of NBS (‘nature-based enterprises’) that emerged as a result of this.
Since its launch in October 2020, CNEP has established itself as the world’s largest community of nature- based enterprises with more than 2000 active members. The platform has 10 different communities each moderated by a Community ambassador, a leading nature-based enterprise in their field of practice. Each community delivers a wide range of actions to raise awareness of and support the growth of nature-based enterprises. The Platform also serves as an important show window for buyers of nature-based (city authorities, developers etc) seeking suppliers of nature-based solutions.
The CNEP has now reached a point where the value provided by the Platform to its memberships both new and existing continues to expand to include new directions such as continuing professional development, networking opportunities, project collaborations and the development of a dedicated resource library for nature-based enterprises.
